About the job
One of the key solutions of USoft is SMART PIA. SMART PIA is a software tool that supports organisations in dealing with privacy related responsibilities as stated in the GDPR. One of these responsibilities is performing Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA’s)
As a Privacy Consultant, you will support the implementation of our tool at customers. You will be working in a project team that mostly consists: legal members, IT staff and project managers. Apart from advising about GDPR matters, you are responsible for the complete configuration of the SMART PIA tool. This consists of adding questionnaires and workflows into the tool so that the customer can start on their GDPR compliancy journey. Like to be in front of a class? Good to hear, because it will be also your task to assist and train the company in using the SMART PIA tool. You manage several SMART PIA projects at the same time. Next to that you are part of the sales team and support them, as the SMART PIA expert, at demonstrations. In the near future we would like to see you grow to a Privacy Consultant, with an expertise in GDPR legislation, data strategies and expert trainer.
As a Privacy Consultant, you need to meet the following requirements:
- University of Applied Sciences (HBO) or Academic Education (WO);
- affinity with privacy legislation and familiar with Agile working;
- accomplished (or having the ambition to obtain) a CIPP/E certificate;
- speaks and writes Dutch on at least C1 level.
Next to the requirements stated above, we are looking for someone who is:

- able to explain and argue advice in a pleasant, client focused way.
